Metal processing

We process and recycle all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including iron and steel, construction scrap, large volume demolition material, copper, aluminium, brass and stainless steel. Our metal reprocessing facilities are designed to extract every last recyclable fragment from metals, maximising recycling.
We operate high volume shredders, large scale shears, balers, metal waste processing plants and car depollution equipment that can handle a few kilos to thousands of tonnes.

Electrical and hazardous waste

We have permitted sites for accepting and treating electrical waste and are an approved authorised treatment facility. Processing includes recovery, depollution, disassembly and shredding. Our modern equipment ensures we exceed increasingly tough environmental targets.

Smart waste and environmental monitoring

We support you with material management monitoring and Smart waste reporting on and off site. With our Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP) we provide you with clear visibility of how resources are managed and controlled throughout the project. This helps you manage your waste, environmental responsibilities and achieve value for money from cost efficient waste processing.

Duty of Care

Our ‘Duty of Care’ at each stage of the process is of paramount importance to us, in collecting, transporting, processing and disposing of waste streams. We update our duty of care pack monthly to ensure all permits, licenses, certificates and accreditations are in line with regulation. We have also been Associate Members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors for over a decade, supporting our profile as a reputable and trustworthy supplier across the industry.

Working in partnership

People are at the heart of everything we do. Building relationships is how we have grown our business with clients, customers, suppliers and above all, our dedicated team. We are proud to have trusted, long standing partnerships with small independent businesses through to large multi-site corporations, sub-contractors and suppliers.

Quality assurance

At Ward we are dedicated to offering our customers the very highest standards of service. We’re one of only a few recycling companies that hold the ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 quality standards as well as being awarded Investors in People. We constantly review our quality control systems, to ensure that our professional standards are maintained and improved upon.
