We have been very busy over the last few months developing our 2017 event to ensure we create a format that really works for our sponsors, exhibitors and delegates, which maximises learning and networking opportunities across all levels of the decommissioning supply chain, for all the sectors.
From a conference organisers perspective, its very important that we evolve with the industry. Decommissioning is a complex process that requires a multitude of skills and technologies, from commercial strategy, meticulous planning and project management, as well as a multitude of engineering innovations.
These practices are common across decommissioning whether it’s the dismantling of an oil rig or wind farm, to the decommissioning of a nuclear plant or oil refinery – many of the issues encountered and the solutions available are similar. TotalDECOM is unique in its approach – bringing together all the decommissioning industries to learn from one another, whilst also enabling the supply chains to showcase their capabilities to new markets. This years conference will tackle a multitude of decommissioning ‘hot topics’ – take an ‘At A Glance’ look at our plans for next year and get in touch if you would like to get involved.
Here is a flavour of some the organisations that have already come on board for next year’s conference ….
Aecom, Sellafield, BAE Systems, Nuvia, Costain, Westinghouse, NOF, Citi Group, DNVGL, Mott McDonald, McKinsey, Price Waterhouse Cooper, DNB, Decom North Sea, Nuclear Industry Association, University of Aberdeen , Westlakes Engineering
