Martin will outline Sellafield Ltd's Supply Chain opportunities and reveal how Sellafield Ltd is working closely with Nuclear AMRC F4N, to create synergy between F4N and Sellafield Ltd's quality standards. Sellafield ltd is very much open for business and actively encourages organisations to come forward with ideas and innovations to collaborate with them to solve some of their complex decommissioning challenges - ‘SMEs are invaluable to site owners and operators’ - Martin George, Sellafield Ltd.
As the company's mission changes from commercial reprocessing to environmental remediation, Martin will also talk about Sellafield Ltd focus on safely accelerating the clean-up of it's legacy facilities and deomstrating value for money. The expectation extends to Sellafield’s Supply Chain, in terms of delivering Projects, Products and Services safely, to schedule, of the right quality and to agreed cost.
Martin will be hosting 1 to 1’s at our Nuclear AMRC event on 20th November at the KTC Sheffield. Book a ticket. Martin presented and carried out 1 to 1 appointments on behalf of Sellafield Ltd at our last supply chain networking event in Rosyth and said of the event:
‘The Rosyth event provided a great opportunity to network with like-minded individuals. The 1 to 1s were invaluable for exploring potential within the SME community to take part in the delivery of Projects, Products or Services on behalf of Sellafield Ltd. The presentations from the other decommissioning sectors gave a diverse but equally important message regarding upcoming projects. The event also revealed a new innovation from a current Sellalfield supplier, that could potentially solve one of the sites current decommissioning challenges, that may not have been unearthed without such an event’.
